The Mountain House area of Keystone resort is 1 of 2 locations where you can catch ski lifts (the other is River Run Village). This was Keystone's first development and original base area. The Peru ski lift and Argentine ski lift services skiers of all ages. Additionally, it's a convenient location to access the Keystone ski school, lift ticket office, medical center and A-51 snowboard park.

The Mountain House Base Area at Keystone Resort is the original ski area prior to River Run Village being developed in 2002. This area is walking distance to the Peru and Argentine ski lifts from most condominiums. The Keystone on-demand shuttle services the entire area. Plan on walking anywhere from 50 to 300 yards to ski lifts. The main ski school is located in this region, so it's a terrific area to stay if lessons are in your agenda. The A-51 Terrain Park is quickly accessible from either ski lifts. Services in the area include retail shops, dining, and lift ticket offices.
