Keystone Scenic Gondola Rides

Soar to 10,000 feet and immerse yourself in breathtaking panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains, Dercum Mountain, North Peak, and Keystone Resort as two scenic gondolas transport you to your alpine summer adventure. While mountain bikes are enthusiastically welcomed with a bike lift pass, please note that dogs are not permitted. Summer scenic rides are available until September 21, offering stunning vistas and unforgettable experiences. Horseback Riding and The Keystone Stables.

Keystone Stables kicks off the summer season with its first Wild West Night on May 20th. Join the fun every Wednesday from May 20th to September 23rd, 5 to 7 p.m., for a taste of the Old West with country dance lessons, a hearty Western meal, and s’mores by the campfire. Located on USDA Forest Service land, Keystone Stables offers guided horseback rides through the White River National Forest. Rides are available for one or two hours; minimum age is 8 years. Reservations are required.

Prices: $45 for 1 hour ride; $67 for 2 hour ride Private rides are available for $50.00 per person, per hour, 2 hour minimum. Reservations required and based on wrangler availability. No double riding. Minimum age is 8 years. Pony rides Kids ages 3-7 will love the 15-minute pony ride as their parent leads the pony around the corral. Join a guided walking tour from the summit, where you`ll explore local wildlife, vibrant wildflowers, unique plants, and intriguing history. Meet at the River Run ticket office and prepare for changing weather conditions. The Summit Express chairlift will transport you to the top and bring you back down after your adventure. Embark on a memorable river adventure and discover the art of fly fishing or enhance your techniques with the guidance of a skilled instructor. Keystone offers captivating, year-round guided trips that cater to all skill levels. To secure your spot, make a reservation through Gondola Resorts or call (800) 354-4FUN (4386). Meet at the Adventure Center in Lakeside Village to start your journey. Full-day trips run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., while half-day excursions are available from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Rates are as follows: $275 for a full day for one person or $185 each for two; $200 for a half day for one person or $135 each for two. Additionally, fly fishing clinics are held at the Adventure Center on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from late May to late August at 5:30 p.m., and are free with an Adventure Passport.
